Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a couture wedding dress from Norma and Lili. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
Design Process and Customisation:
- Our couture gowns are made-to-order and designed according to your specific requirements and preferences.
- The design process involves multiple consultations, measurements, and fittings to ensure a tailored and personalised outcome.
- Any customisation requests should be discussed and agreed upon during the design process.
1. Order Placement and Deposit:
- To initiate the order, a non-refundable deposit of $2000 must be paid. This deposit secures your appointment and reserves the dress for you.
- The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the dress.
2. Changes and Cancellations:
- We would like to inform our customers that we do not offer refunds for change of mind once the order is placed and the deposit is paid.
- Once the order is placed and appointments have passed the calico stage, changes of dress design will not be accepted.
- In the rare occasion that a change of mind is permitted, additional charges may apply, which will be communicated to you.
- In the event of order cancellation after the commencement of dress production, the deposit and any progress payments made are non-refundable. You are obligated to fulfil the dress payment in full and complete the dress-making process by the wedding date specified in the contract (refer to the front page). Failure to comply with these requirements by the specified due date will result in Norma and Lili claiming full ownership of the gown, and all deposits will be forfeited.
3. Payment and Collection:
- Once the dress has started to be made, the remaining balance must be paid in full.
- The dress must be collected by the customer upon completion, once the final payment has been made.
- We reserve the right to retain the dress until full payment is received.
4. Dress Alterations:
- Minor alterations may be required to ensure the dress fits perfectly. Such alterations are included in the original purchase price.
- Any major alterations due to weight fluctuations required will be at the customer’s expense.
5. Product Representation:
- While we strive to accurately represent our wedding dresses through descriptions, images, and samples, there may be slight variations due to differences in materials, production, or customisation.
- We cannot guarantee an exact replication of any customisation request.
6. Care and Maintenance:
- Once the dress is in your possession, it is your responsibility to handle and store it with care.
- We are not liable for any damage or deterioration that occurs after the dress is delivered.
7. Postponement
- Once a request for gown postponement is received, we will evaluate the feasibility and availability to accommodate the new date.
- We reserve the right to assess the impact of the postponement on our production schedule, materials availability, and any associated costs or commitments.
- Any additional costs, if applicable, arising from the postponement (e.g., rush fees, alteration fees) will be communicated and agreed upon by both parties.
- The customer understands that the acceptance of a postponement request is subject to our discretion and the feasibility of rescheduling.
